over the weekend my son and i were looking at a magazine that had a long article and photo essay about the various mars missions. as we were flipping through the pictures he would point and ask, what’s that? when he pointed to a rover and asked, what’s that, without thinking or hesitation i answered – that’s a robot that is working on mars.
then i stopped for a second and realized what i just said.
and then i thought, wow, my son is going to grow up in a world where we are on mars. and that’s just normal. awesome.
